With the announcement that the government had allowed 100% international Direct Investment (FDI) in the insurance industry, the prime minister emphasised India’s forward-thinking strategy for luring in international capital. He claimed that by taking these actions, India would be able to transition to greener and more effective energy sources.
Now the Government insurance sector was opened for 100 percent FDI and the civil nuclear power sector focused on SMR and AMR technologies for private participation.Similarly, Prime Minister Modi has said that the customs rate structure has also been rationalized and a simplified income tax code is being introduced to make life easier.
The Prime Minister asked the group to look into India’s efforts, such as the establishment of the National Manufacturing Mission.
He exhorted French businesses to work together in fields like technology, innovation, and sustainable development and to take advantage of the enormous potential in India.

When Indian businesses placed sizable orders for aircraft, the aviation industry served as an illustration of this. And you can see for yourselves what the future holds as we prepare to launch 120 new airports,” the prime minister stated.
